Vacancy Details
Yantra India Limited (YIL) has invited online applications for the engagement of Trade Apprentices (Non-lTI & ITI candidates). There are a total of 3883 vacancies including 2498 ITI and 1385 Non – ITI.

Education Qualification
According to the official notification of YIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024, the Candidates must have passed 10th or ITI as per the requirement of the vacancies.

Age Limit
As per the YIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 notification, the age applicants must be at least 14 years and 18 years old for designated trades, but not older than 35 years, by the closing date for applications, which is November 21, 2024.

Selection Process
As per the YIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 notification, the selection for ITI and Non-ITI posts will be as follows –
For Non-ITI Candidates –
- Selection will be based on merit and the candidate’s choice of Ordnance Factory.
- Separate merit lists will be prepared for NON-ITI and EX-ITI categories.
- For the NON-ITI category, the merit list will be factory-wise based on Madhyamik or matriculation marks.
- A factory-wise common merit list will be prepared for the NON-ITI category, and trades will be allotted by each factory on Merit-cum-choice basis after the selection.
For ITI Candidates –
- The Merit List for the Ex-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise and trade-wise.
- It will be based on a simple average of the percentage of marks in Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% in aggregate in each).
- For Matriculation, marks obtained and entered by the candidate in the online application will be considered.
- For ITI, marks mentioned in the provisional/final certificate will be considered.

Stipend
As per the provisions of sub-rule (1) of rule 11 of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, trade apprentices shall receive a minimum monthly stipend. The Trade Apprentice Act 1961 and The Gazette notification of India, G.S.R. 686(E), Part11-Section 37-Sub-section(i) dated September 25, 2019, specify the monthly stipend amount for apprentices.

How to Apply
As per the YIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 notification, to apply for the vacancies the candidates have to follow the following steps –
- Candidates must apply online at the specified website: https://recruit-gov.com.
- Carefully fill in personal details and ensure they match official documents.
- Provide an active mobile number and valid email for important communications.
- Prepare scanned documents, including a photo, signature, Aadhaar card, educational certificates, and caste certificates (if applicable).
- Follow detailed instructions during form filling to avoid rejection.
- No hard copies are required; a soft copy of the application will be emailed.
- Only one application per candidate is allowed; multiple submissions may result in disqualification.
- An Aadhaar card is preferred, but candidates without it can use an enrollment ID or other specified identity proofs.
- Selected candidates must present the original Aadhaar card or specified document for verification.
- Address proof documents must be uploaded, such as a bank passbook, voter ID, passport, bills, driving license, or property tax receipt.
- Caste certificates for SC/ST and OBC candidates must be in the prescribed format and presented at document verification.
