Education Qualification

According to the official notification of NIT Manipur Recruitment 2024, the applicants must possess a PhD, PG, or UG degree in a relevant or equivalent field. Additionally, they must have earned first-class in each of their preceding degrees.

Experience

• Part-time teaching or visiting/guest faculty experience is Not Valid.
• Only Regular Positions with over six months of experience are counted.
• Proof of experience must be provided, indicating duration, designation, and pay scale.
• Teaching/research/industrial experience must be from recognized institutions or organizations.
• Industrial experience in PSUs or private industries with a turnover of over ₹500 crores is considered.
• Postdoctoral fellow experience should be from specific institutions and universities.
• Candidates who obtained their PhD from NIT Manipur may be considered after a 3-year gap.
• Assistant Professor Grade I requires experience with Academic Grade Pay ₹6000 or ₹7000, corresponding to Pay Level 10 or 11.
• Assistant Professor Grade II also requires experience with Academic Grade Pay ₹6000 or ₹7000, corresponding to Pay Level 10 or 11.
